Live Your Dreams through Faith and Courage

BY Dee Bryant  DATE: October 4, 2022

An insightful and lively book that teaches young readers the importance of faith and courage in achieving one’s dream. The inviting illustrations and relatable storyline made this an absolute delight to read.

In this heartwarming yet challenging story, Grace Skylar Jamison must overcome her fear of heights to prove that nothing is impossible when you believe. Although she fell off and got hurt from the slide, Grace didn’t give up. Slowly and patiently, she practiced jumping off. First from their porch, then from a big rock, and finally, in the airborne flight simulator. This is the kind of book that will make parents and kids bond together.

The pages come alive because of the vibrant colors used in the illustrations. Furthermore, each word of this book has been carefully selected to create an engaging reading experience for younger children. Older children will find it easy to read themselves and will appreciate the story.

The storyline is very relatable to children. It is charged with valuable lessons that adults must learn, too. We all have fears. Running away from our fears doesn’t take away our fears. The story of Grace sets an example to face our fears and overcome them through faith and courage. One of Grace’s secret weapons was prayer. Yup, that’s something worth emulating every minute of every day in our lives.
