William Hanna Uncovers The Truth About Man and Religion with His Intellectual and Explicit Discourse.

Today, our brothers and sisters all around the world suffer from the dominance of religious groups who believe they are superior. The Broken Promise of a Promised Land by William Hanna is a strong and forthright look at how a wrong understanding of religion may undermine man’s ways. This book will leave you speechless as he enlightens everyone’s eyes to realize the truth behind mankind’s history and science.

William Hanna has written an exceptionally instructive and interesting book that maintains a defined, aggressive, and scholarly tone from beginning to end. Rather than utilizing flowery, flashy, dramatic phrases to get his point across, Hanna opts for a brutally direct and cuttingly intelligent method. He is a London-based freelance writer on democracy and human rights and author of several books including The Grim Reaper.

How did you come up with the title of the book?

That was easy because all the Promises in the following declaration were unashamedly and barbarically broken by Zionism in the name of the Jewish people:

THE STATE OF ISRAEL will be open for Jewish immigration and for the Ingathering of the Exiles; it will foster the development of the country for the benefit of all its inhabitants; it will be based on freedom, justice and peace as envisaged by the prophets of Israel; it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion, race or sex; it will guarantee freedom of religion, conscience, language, education and culture; it will safeguard the Holy Places of all religions; and it will be faithful to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.  THE DECLARATION OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE STATE OF ISRAELMay 14, 1948

What’s the hardest part of writing The Broken Promise of a Promised Land?

Retaining a degree of impartiality despite the irrefutable injustice of Israel’s persecution of the Palestinian People.

From all this information and research you laid out to your readers, can you tell us if there is a detail that surprised you when you learned about it?

Overall, for me, it was inconceivable how a people who had historically been he victims of inhumane and at times fatal persecution, could themselves resort to an equivalent form of brutality against another ethnic group.

What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning to write a book?

I gather all the available information for the subject on which I am writing and place all related items into separate folders from which the different chapters will gradually evolve. Research is a constantly ongoing process — and even during the final draft —statements of fact have to be confirmed by at least two alternative sources.

What do you want your readers to get from your book?

The importance of having a conscience that shows concern and respect for the human rights of other people irrespective of race,  religion, or resources.

What was an early experience where you learned that language had power?

Reading Émile Zola’s 1898 JAccuse, an open letter which condemned the court-martial and conviction for treason of Alfred Dreyfus — a Jewish artillery officer — whose case became one of the most controversial and polarising political dramas in modern French History. Though Dreyfus was eventually cleared as a result of Zola’s powerful letter, Zola was himself forced to settle for exile in England.

If you didn’t write, what would you do for work?

Not something I think about. I am 82 years old

What is your favorite childhood book?

The Diary of Anne Frank.

Do you have a favorite mantra? Can you share it with us?

I don’t believe in mantras because at my age telling myself that I am fit and sexually  virile will not change a reality which I suspect that even Viagra would fail to alleviate.

Are you planning on releasing another book? What will it be about?

I am currently working on  The American Dream: A Nightmare From Which Americans Refuse To Be Awakened, which I hope to have finished by the end of March 2022.

This book is available on Amazon.
