Gear up and fasten your seatbelts, for we are about to go on a journey into a fascinating dystopian sci-fi universe bursting with adventure                    and an unfathomable world. Roy Harris sheds us his concept of ‘What might happen to the world if it continues to advance without a break?’

When technology was at its peak, the world suffered. Only the fortunate were given the opportunity to be reset, to live outside of the world. Jack Harrison, a Topgridder, was one of the fortunate few who had the opportunity to live life fully and without attachments. In Alaska in the year 2096, Jack returned to what remained on the planet’s surface. He encountered Larkhil Han and his crew, and he joined the plot to get out of the mines and back to Bellytown. Even if the real land had been tainted by modern technology, they would choose it over rotting underneath. Freedom is their destination.

After reaching Sanatan, the gaming sector, Jack, disguised as a techie, will brace himself for a string game. You’ll come to know these individuals, who are vastly different from one another, as the tale progresses. Some of them are bound to win your heart. Before they were transported to the mines, each of them had a brief backstory of what happened to them. They all had a compelling cause for wanting to leave the underground. Our main character, Jack, has a fascination with old history, giving us both the past and the future. He also has the ability to access the fifth dimension.

A highly imaginative and futuristic experience filled with information that is thoroughly researched and suture through a world that is far from what we have right now. It’s a distinct take on science fiction, vivid and with startling language. Because of technology, everything was polished to perfection. The catch is the generation of this age doesn’t have a clue how to live in reality. Realness precedes flaws. If there is anything that is common with people living in the past and in the future, that is desire.

This isn’t your typical science fiction novel. It’s really an eye-opener, and it’ll show you the toll science has on our ecosystem. Prepare to embark on an adventure with this gang as the drama unfolds in front of your eyes, with mind-blowing plot twists that you wouldn’t see coming. If you enjoy ambiguous jargon about science and technology, this will undoubtedly be a fantastic read for you.
